New here? Here's how! Before you start trimming your hooves, we ask that you first book a "hoof consultation." This consultation is particularly important so that we can better understand your horse, its hoof condition, and your needs. What can you expect during your hoof consultation? We'll take the time to discuss your horse's hoof anatomy with you and explain the basics of our trimming methods. Together, we'll create markups (drawings) and analyze them step by step. We also offer live support during the hoof trimming process, so you feel confident and can get any questions answered directly. Emergency? No problem! If you need urgent assistance, you can also book an emergency call. Our team is there to provide you with the best possible support. Here's how it works: First, book the "hoof consultation," especially if you're a new client. Upload all relevant photos of your horse's hooves to our portal in advance—ideally before your appointment—so we can be optimally prepared. After the trimming, you can contact us anytime for an evaluation of the work. We look forward to meeting you and your horse and supporting you on your journey to healthy hooves!
Cancellation Policy
Course Booking Guidelines: TACTIntensive These guidelines govern the terms and conditions for booking and participating in the 12-week "TACTIntensive" program (hereinafter referred to as "Course") offered by TACTGefühl. 1. Booking and Contract Conclusion Registration for the course takes place via the official TACTGefühl website. A binding contract between the participant and TACTGefühl is concluded upon completion of the booking process and full payment of the course fee. Places are limited to a maximum of 8 participants per course and are allocated in the order of receipt of payment. 2. Payment Terms The course fee is due in full at the time of booking. Payment is made using the payment methods offered on the website. Payment in installments is only possible after individual agreement and written confirmation from TACTGefühl. 3. Cancellation and Refund • Cancellation by the Participant: Cancellation of participation must be submitted in writing via email to TACTGefühl by [date/timeframe to be inserted]. For cancellations made up to 14 days before the course begins, a processing fee of 10% of the course fee will be retained. For cancellations made later than this, or in case of no-show, no refund of the course fee is possible. However, a substitute participant may be named. • Cancellation by the organizer: Should the course be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness of the instructor, insufficient number of participants), participants will be informed immediately. In this case, the course fee already paid will be fully refunded. Further claims are excluded. 4. Scope of Services The course fee includes: • 12-week support with 8 live Zoom calls (approx. 120 minutes). • Access to accompanying learning materials such as video tutorials, checklists, and analysis tools. • Exchange within a closed small group of a maximum of 8 participants. Tools necessary for hoof care are not included. 5. Participation Requirements • Participants must own one or more horses and be responsible for their own hoof care. • This course is for horse owners who wish to trim their horse's hooves themselves using the TACT method. • This course does not replace veterinary treatment or consultation with a veterinarian.
